SILVERTHORN RESORT
At Lake Shasta
Everyone remembers his or her first experience of Shasta Lake. Whether you are a fishing fanatic or just out for a vacation, you fall in love with your own little piece of Shasta when you're here. Having over 365 miles of shoreline, an average depth of 400 feet and 30,000 acres of surface water, Shasta Lake has quickly become the Houseboating and Wakeboarding capital of the world! With this much space, Shasta Lake is the perfect place to get lost on your own island or in a private cove.
At Silverthorn Resort, we make it our continuous goal to provide every guest with a fun and memorable vacation experience.
Like most of Northern California, Silverthorn Resort has grown with time! We are quickly becoming the premier resort on Shasta Lake. The number one attraction is Houseboating and we have some of the most luxurious houseboats around! Our Queen I houseboats have all the modern amenities you could dream of, including private staterooms, full bathrooms, sleeping room for sixteen (twenty if utilizing the beds on the roof), full kitchen appliances, including a dishwasher and trash compactor, satellite TVs and DVD players, fireplaces, Hot Tubs, and much, much more. On an exciting note, we will be adding more new boats to the fleet and they will be available to rent for the 2008 summer season! We also have mid-range houseboats named the Presidential (sleeps 16), and the Executive (sleeps 10), perfect for those smaller get-togethers and some rest and relaxation on Shasta Lake. No matter what boat suits your needs, your Houseboating adventure is sure to be an outstanding experience!
Houseboating is not all there is to Shasta Lake and we also offer cabins that can accommodate 4 to 10 people. All of our cabins are equipped with all the kitchen comforts as well. Need somewhere to dock your fishing or ski boat? All of our cabins come with a slip on our locked, private moorage dock.
With a gift shop, a Pro shop, a grocery store, fuel dock, private moorage, and a courtesy dock, we have made every attempt to ensure that we are supplying a fun-filled and relaxing vacation resort. We know that your vacation is a very important time for you, your friends and your family – therefore we strive to meet your every need when it comes to customer service.
While dreaming up your next vacation adventure, or to just get away for a weekend or day, remember Silverthorn Resort on beautiful Lake Shasta.
